Dr. Victoria Ruocco is thrilled to be our new Chief of Staff. She grew up in Medfield and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2006. Dr. Ruocco went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee in 2010. After graduation she practiced for a short time in private practice, including working a few shifts at Norton Animal Hospital before completing an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Tufts Veterinary Emergency Treatment and Specialties in Walpole, Massachusetts. Dr. Ruocco then spent several years in private practice, joining Norton Animal Hospital in September, 2017.
In her free time, she enjoys being with her friends, family, and pets. Dr. Ruocco resides in Mendon with her husband, Keegan, her little Westie, Lady, a naughty cat, Autumn, and two sweet little guinea pigs, Harold and Olive.
She loves kayaking with her dog, taking her cat for walks on a leash around the yard, horse-back riding, doing yoga, and eating good food.
Dr. Ruocco truly cherishes the human-animal bond, both with her own animals and those of her clients. She aims to make each visit, whether wellness or sick, as pleasant and stress-free as possible and looks forward to meeting your furry family members!
